The Waiter / F&B Service Associate will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests while ensuring a memorable dining experience. The candidate will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction in the restaurant, banquet, café, or resort dining outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations when required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel/resort service standards.
- Ensure timely and efficient service to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Set up and maintain restaurant tables, service stations, and dining areas.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and service areas.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Assist in banquet, conference, and event service when required.
- Process guest bills accurately and assist with payment procedures.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and hospitality standards.
- Upsell menu items, special promotions, and beverages to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times.
Profile Requirements(What is the employer looking for?)
- HSC/Graduate; Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- 1–4 years of experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés, or hospitality establishments.
- Freshers with excellent communication and hospitality skills may also be considered.
- Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Well-groomed personality with professional behavior.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
