Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in CAD drafting and design, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software. The candidate should possess excellent attention to detail, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams.
This role involves preparing and revising technical drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards, maintaining drawing documentation, and supporting engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
- Convert conceptual sketches into accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineering teams and clients.
- Maintain organized documentation, drawing revisions, and version control.
- Identify potential design issues and recommend practical improvements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience as a CAD Engineer, Drafting Engineer, CAD Designer, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of construction, manufacturing, or engineering processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 2D & 3D drafting.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with engineering standards, materials, and construction techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
