Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Officer to manage the company's end-to-end accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team management. The role requires the ability to independently handle accounts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting operations from journal entries to finalization of accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Independently handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances, including timely return filing.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities during audits and assessments.
- Verify invoices, expenses, payments, and accounting entries.
- Prepare budgets, financial analysis, and variance reports for management.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Lead and supervise the accounts team, ensuring timely completion of daily accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support management with financial planning and business decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with CA Firm experience will be preferred.
