Job Overview
Looking for a Network Manager (IT Engineer) to manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, systems and IT operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on networking knowledge, troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to ensure reliable, secure and uninterrupted IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls and network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, connectivity, bandwidth and system availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain network devices, access points and related IT infrastructure.
- Manage user access, network security, permissions and basic cybersecurity requirements.
- Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors for connectivity and support.
- Perform regular system/network health checks, backups and maintenance activities.
- Maintain IT asset, network configuration and infrastructure documentation.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets and provide technical support to employees.
- Support IT infrastructure upgrades, installations and implementation of new systems.
- Identify potential network risks and recommend improvements for performance, reliability and security.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Network Administration, IT Infrastructure or IT Support.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, VLANs and Wi-Fi.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls and network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory and basic server administration will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Good understanding of IT security practices and access management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle IT issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network + or equivalent will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
