About the Internship:
BAI Infosolutions Private Limited – CoTrav is looking for a Finance Intern to become part of our Finance & Accounts function. This opportunity is suited for students and recent graduates who want to understand how finance operations work within a corporate setup and gain practical exposure beyond academic concepts. During the internship, you will work alongside the Finance team and assist with accounting records, transaction processing, documentation, reconciliations, and other routine finance-related activities.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Finance team in handling regular accounting and finance-related activities.
- Record and update financial transactions in Tally / Tally Prime under the guidance of the team.
- Assist in processing entries related to purchases, sales, payments, receipts, and journals.
- Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting financial documents.
- Assist with checking and matching financial documents to ensure records are complete and accurate.
- Support the team with bank reconciliation and ledger-related activities.
- Help keep accounting data and financial records organized and updated.
- Assist with routine activities related to accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the preparation and compilation of basic financial information and internal reports.
- Assist in maintaining documentation required for GST and other finance-related compliance activities.
- Coordinate with relevant internal teams to obtain information and documents required for accounting purposes.
- Help with maintaining finance-related files, records, and databases.
- Take up additional finance and accounting assignments as required by the reporting manager.
Who Can Apply?
- Candidates pursuing or having recently completed B.Com, M.Com, or a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Candidates with a basic understanding of accounting fundamentals and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of Tally or Tally Prime will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong numerical ability and a keen eye for detail.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in learning about finance and accounting.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks responsibly and work collaboratively with a team.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Professional approach towards handling financial information and documentation.
