Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Design Engineer role based in Kakkanad. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical designs, drawings, and layouts for power distribution and related systems in line with applicable codes and standards. Daily tasks include performing load calculations, selecting equipment, preparing single-line diagrams, and coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is implemented accurately. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, participating in site visits, addressing design-related queries, and supporting approval processes with relevant authorities. The engineer will also assist with cost estimation, material selection, and design optimization to support safe, reliable, and energy-efficient installations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core Electrical Engineering concepts, including Electricity and Power Distribution, with the ability to apply them to real-world projects.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including preparing drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for building and industrial installations.
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations relevant to power systems and building services.
- Ability to use CAD or other electrical design software tools for drafting, modeling, and design reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering /Diploma in electrical engineering / ITI in electrical (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to safety, quality, and compliance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Prior experience with electrical contracting, energy management, or consultancy projects is an advantage.
Pay: Up to ₹12,000.00 per month
