Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on, execution-driven HR Operations Lead to manage and scale end-to-end HR operations for India. This role is responsible for flawless delivery across the employee lifecycle, payroll oversight, compliance governance, HR systems accuracy (Workday and ServiceNow) , BGV Vendor handling and process efficiency.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and has a strong bias for action, operational discipline, and process rigor.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End HR Lifecycle Execution
· Drive onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits, documentation, and employee records management.
· Ensure 100% accuracy and SLA adherence across lifecycle processes.
· Reduce turnaround times (TAT) through process optimization.
· Act as escalation SPOC for operational HR issues.
· BGV vendor handling and issues handling
2. Payroll & Benefits Governance
· Manage payroll inputs, validation, reconciliation, and coordination with vendors.
· Ensure zero payroll errors and 100% statutory compliance.
· Oversee benefits administration, claims resolution, and renewals.
· Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times.
3. HR Systems & Data Accuracy
· Own HRIS (Workday) data integrity and system workflows
· Monitor data accuracy through periodic audits.
· Generate HR dashboards, headcount reports, and compliance trackers.
· Partner with IT for system enhancements and issue resolution.
4. Compliance & Audit Readiness
· Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory filings, and internal policies.
· Lead internal and external audits.
· Maintain policy documentation and SOP governance.
· Identify and proactively close compliance gaps.
5. Process Excellence & Automation
· Standardize HR operations across India
· Implement automation and workflow tools to reduce manual effort.
· Track operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
· Eliminate process inefficiencies and duplication.
6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
· Manage payroll, benefits, and background verification vendors.
· Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
· Partner closely with Business HR, Finance, TA, and Legal teams.
· Ensure alignment between global policies and local execution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
· 8–12 years of HR experience with strong focus on operations.
· 4+ years in GCC / Shared Services / MNC environment.
· Hands-on payroll management experience.
· Strong HRIS ownership and reporting capability.
· Proven experience in high-volume, high-growth environments.
· Strong documentation and process orientation.
