Job Summary
M R Enterprises is looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead all human resource functions across the organization. The role is responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, attendance and payroll coordination, statutory compliance, performance management, training, and HR policy implementation. The HR Manager will play a key role in building a disciplined, productive, and people-focused work culture in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff, supervisors, engineers, and workmen.
- Coordinate interviews, salary negotiations, and appointment letters.
- Conduct employee induction and onboarding programs.
- Maintain an updated manpower plan for all departments.
Employee Relations
- Foster a positive work environment and address employee grievances promptly.
- Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Support disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee turnover.
Attendance, Payroll & Leave Management
- Monitor employee attendance, shift schedules, and leave records.
- Coordinate payroll processing with the accounts department.
- Verify overtime, attendance, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely maintenance of employee records.
Performance Management
- Implement and monitor the employee performance appraisal system.
- Coordinate KPI setting and periodic performance reviews.
- Work with department heads to identify training and development needs.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain personnel files and HR documentation.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and maintain compliance records.
Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and organize technical, safety, and behavioural training programs.
- Track employee training records and evaluate effectiveness.
Administration Support
- Coordinate with administration for employee welfare initiatives.
- Assist in organizing company events, celebrations, and employee recognition programs.
- Support implementation of workplace discipline and company standards.
Requirements
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or steel industries.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll processes, and industrial relations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS/ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
- Knowledge of PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, and other labour legislations.
- Experience implementing HR policies, KPIs, and performance management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position based at the manufacturing plant in Bhilai.
- Monday to Saturday working, with availability during emergencies or statutory inspections as required.
- Weekly off as per company policy.
