Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
· Plan, monitor, and execute production activities while coordinating with design, procurement, and vendors.
· Monitor fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, and finishing operations as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.
· Maintain workshop inventory, material traceability, and coordinate material availability with the stores and procurement teams.
· Review material testing/non-destructive/destructive examination codes, standards and prepare detailed QA/QC procedures.
· Implement QA/QC procedures as per the approved quality assurance plan (QAP).
· Inspection of receiving raw material as per the material take off (MTO) document and purchase order.
· Perform part and assembly level dimensional checks as per the drawings.
· Get the raw material testing (mechanical test, IGC test, chemical composition test, etc.) done from vendors.
· Prepare WPS/WPQ/PQR documents, prepare test specimen as per the WPS guidelines, and get the lab testing done.
· Execute DPT/visual inspection tests/weld passivation on shop floor.
· Coordinate with vendors for non-destructive or destructive examination of parts or assemblies.
· Collaborate with design department/team lead/engineering manager for any issues during fabrication or testing phase.
· Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
· Investigating and troubleshooting production issues.
· Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
· Maintain documentation of MTO, QAP, testing reports, WPS/WPQ/PQR, etc.
· Conduct stagewise and final inspection activities with respect to drawing, QAP and customer specifications.
Pre-requisites:
· Should have good knowledge of engineering drawings, welding processes/equipment
· Should have knowledge of standards such as ASME Section IX, ASME Section V, DPT/MT/UT/VT processes
· Should have knowledge and hands on experience working with QC tools and equipment
· Having ASNT NDT level II certification will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
