As the Centre Coordinator, you will support the Centre Head in overseeing the daily operations of the preschool and daycare, ensuring a warm, safe, and enriching environment. Your role blends administrative, academic, and partial daycare facilitation responsibilities, while ensuring smooth communication between staff, parents, and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Admissions & Parent Communication
- Guide prospective parents through the enquiry and admission process
- Conduct centre tours and explain program offerings
- Maintain regular, warm communication with parents regarding child progress, events, or concerns
- Assist with follow-ups, documentation, and admission records
Daily Operations & Staff Coordination
- Support day-to-day functioning of the centre under the guidance of the Centre Head
- Help supervise and assist staff, manage attendance records, and ensure smooth scheduling
- Escalate staff or parent-related issues promptly to the Centre Head
Academic & Event Coordination
- Support curriculum implementation and provide resources for teachers
- Assist in organizing educational activities, special events, and field visits
Administrative Duties
- Maintain records for enrolments, incidents, and centre activities
- Collaborate with backend teams for facility upkeep
- Submit timely reports and updates to the Centre Head
Daycare Involvement
- Participate in daycare facilitation during peak hours or in absence of staff
- Assist children during playtime, meals, and learning activities
- Help plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate daycare programs
Safety & Hygiene Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Inspect food quality, first-aid supplies, and overall cleanliness
- Maintain safety and hygiene records
Crisis & Conflict Management
- Implement emergency response plans in the absence of the Centre Head
- Mediate effectively in case of disputes among staff, children, or parents
Professional Development & Reporting
- Attend workshops and trainings to stay updated on early childhood education practices
- Maintain clear communication with the Centre Head and provide timely reports
