Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead store operations, inventory control, team management, and compliance. The role involves end-to-end ownership of stock planning, store efficiency, staff performance, and coordination with procurement, operations, and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Plan and monitor stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment
- Oversee ERP-based inventory records and periodic stock audits
- Analyze and reduce slow-moving/excess inventory
Store Operations
- Manage receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices, proper labeling, and store organization
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and cost-efficient operations
Team Management
- Lead and train store supervisors/assistants
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and build SOPs
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain GRNs, stock registers, and audit records
- Ensure policy/safety compliance and reconcile inventory with accounts
Coordination
- Liaise with procurement, operations, and project teams
- Handle vendor coordination and urgent material needs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of store/warehouse experience, incl. supervisory experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
- Strong leadership, organizational, and coordination skills
Pay: ₹12,138.89 - ₹41,978.97 per month
