Sales Manager – Fertilizers & Agrochemicals

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager – Fertilizers & Agrochemicals to lead business development and B2B sales for our portfolio of specialty fertilizers and plant nutrition products. The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, an established industry network, and a proven track record in developing distribution channels and institutional business across India.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
· Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, wholesalers, institutional buyers, and agri-input partners.
· Drive B2B sales of specialty fertilizers and agrochemical products across assigned territories.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners.
· Expand the company's market presence by identifying new business opportunities and untapped markets.
· Conduct product presentations, commercial discussions, and contract negotiations with customers.
· Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer demand, and pricing strategies.
· Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and periodic MIS for management.
· Ensure timely payment collections and maintain healthy customer credit management.
· Participate in trade fairs, agricultural exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events to promote the company's product portfolio.
· Work closely with technical and marketing teams to support product launches and customer engagement activities.
Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Chemistry, Business Management, or a related discipline.
· MBA in Marketing or Agribusiness will be an added advantage.
· Minimum 5–10 years of proven experience in B2B sales and business development of fertilizers, specialty fertilizers, agrochemicals, or plant nutrition products.
· Hands-on experience in selling one or more of the listed products.
· Strong network with distributors, dealers, agri-input companies, institutional buyers, exporters, importers, and large agricultural customers.
· Excellent business development, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
· Strong understanding of fertilizer markets, pricing, crop nutrition, and distribution channels.
· Ability to travel extensively for customer meetings and market development activities.
