Avadar Infrastructures is looking for a meticulous and driven Interior Civil Engineer specializing in fit-outs and interior execution. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming premium interior design concepts into physical reality. You will supervise all internal civil modifications, high-end finishing works, MEP coordination, and false ceiling framing, ensuring that the final execution matches the exact dimensions, aesthetic finish, and quality intended by our architectural team.
Key Responsibilities
Finishing & Execution Supervision: Oversee all interior civil works, including high-end flooring (marble, granite, wooden, vitrified tiles), precise internal brickwork/partition walls, dry-wall installations, and premium wall finishes.
Structural Ceiling & Joinery Alignment: Supervise the setting out and structural grid framing for complex false ceilings, fluid/organic design profiles, and coordinate the precise anchoring points for custom wooden joinery and millwork.
MEP Integration: Coordinate closely with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC vendors to ensure all internal piping, conduit routing, and air conditioning ducting are seamlessly integrated into the civil and interior framework before finishing begins.
Drawing & Detail Interpretation: Read and interpret intricate interior architectural drawings, detailed section profiles, lighting layouts, and material specifications, ensuring zero deviations on the floor.
Quality Assurance & Snagging: Maintain a sharp eye for surface alignment, leveling, joint lines, and edge details. Conduct continuous quality checks and systematically clear snag lists prior to handover.
Material & Vendor Management: Estimate interior material quantities, verify incoming material quality against approved samples, manage specialized interior sub-contractors, and minimize expensive finish material wastage.
Progress Reporting: Maintain detailed daily site logs, track timelines for overlapping fit-out trades, and provide structured updates to the Project Architect.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of dedicated experience in interior fit-outs, premium residential interiors, or commercial turnaround execution.
Technical Skills: Mastery in reading interior working drawings, floor layouts, and electrical/plumbing routing charts. Strong command over measurement verification, level marking (using water levels/laser levels), and finishing techniques.
Core Competencies: Extreme attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills on-site, and the ability to manage multiple specialized interior vendors simultaneously.
Language: Professional fluency in Tamil (Hindi advantage for labor and vendor management) and working knowledge of English.
