Job Summary
SAMMS TECH SPM & AUTOMATION is looking for a proactive and organized Material Follow-up & Project Coordinator to manage material tracking, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to follow up with suppliers, production, design, and purchase teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with suppliers for material delivery as per the project schedule.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Design, Production, Assembly, and Stores teams.
- Track the status of materials from ordering to delivery.
- Monitor daily project progress and provide status updates to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all required materials are available before production and assembly.
- Maintain material tracking sheets and project progress reports.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding delivery schedules and pending materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
- Follow up on pending purchase orders and expedite critical materials.
- Coordinate machine dispatch schedules with the logistics team.
- Update management on project timelines, material shortages, and delivery commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of project documents, purchase orders, and material receipts.
- Support project planning and ensure on-time completion of customer projects.
- Communicate effectively with all departments to resolve project-related issues.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong follow-up and vendor management skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and project execution.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, SPM machines, or industrial automation.
- Knowledge of ERP software is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with purchase processes, inventory management, and project coordination.

Salary is negotiable based on experience and skills.
