Position Summary
Raghav Polymers Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth, expand market presence, and develop strategic customer relationships in the polymers, plastics, packaging films, chemicals, and allied industries. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, generate revenue, and strengthen partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, and industrial customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
· Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries and regions.
· Generate qualified leads through market research, networking, referrals, and industry events.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
· Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
· Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial offers.
Customer Relationship Management
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
· Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable polymer and packaging solutions.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
· Handle commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
Market Intelligence
· Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
· Identify emerging opportunities in sustainable and biodegradable polymer segments.
· Provide regular market feedback to management for strategic decision-making.
Account Management
· Manage existing customer accounts and drive business expansion opportunities.
· Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams for timely order execution.
· Track sales performance and customer growth metrics.
Reporting & Forecasting
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
· Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
· Develop sales forecasts and business growth plans.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
· MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.
· 3–8 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, industrial sales, polymers, plastics, chemicals, packaging, or related industries.
