- Strong expertise in Physics-Based Modeling & Simulation across component, subsystem, and system levels, with the ability to provide technical leadership in Structural, Thermal, Electromagnetics, Arc Physics, and Manufacturing Process Simulations.
- Strong understanding of Multiphysics Modeling and Co-Simulation methodologies involving structural-electromagnetic, thermo-mechanical, electro-thermal, fluid-structure interaction (FSI), and arc-plasma interactions.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying Digital Engineering workflows integrating CAD, CAE, optimization and simulation automation to accelerate product development and improve engineering productivity.
- Experience in Design Optimization and Design Exploration using tools such as modeFRONTIER, iSight, VOLTA, OptiSLang, enabling multi-objective and multidisciplinary optimization.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML applications in engineering, including surrogate modeling, Reduced Order Models (ROMs)
- Demonstrated experience in supporting NPI/NTI programs, applying simulation-led design methodologies to improve performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and speed-to-market.
- Sound understanding of material science, failure mechanisms, heat transfer, electromagnetics, plasma physics, manufacturing processes, and product validation methodologies."
