he Junior Civil Engineer will assist the Site Engineer/Project Engineer in executing building construction activities, ensuring work is completed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities for RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, painting, and finishing works.
Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
Monitor labour, subcontractors, and material usage at the site.
Check line, level, dimensions, and quality of construction work.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, MEP engineers, and contractors.
Prepare daily progress reports (DPR) and maintain site records.
Verify quantities and assist in preparing contractor bills.
Inspect incoming construction materials and ensure quality compliance.
Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping at the site.
Report delays, technical issues, and quality concerns to the Project Engineer.
Required Skills
Knowledge of RCC, finishing, and building construction.
Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and structural drawings.
Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ.
Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and basic project planning.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work at construction sites.
Qualification
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
1–2 years of experience in residential, commercial, or hospital building projects.
Preferred Knowledge
Concrete quality control and cube testing.
Reinforcement checking before concreting.vu
