The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
To meet the growing requirements of the Custody business, we need Mainframe L3 senior developer with strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to work in L3 team.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work and resolve Level 3 production support changes.
- Fix production issues and perform small enhancements
- Manage UAT environments including health check, UAT support
- Work independently and perform release activity such as raising request for UAT/PROD deployment, debugging the issue, prepare/present the release documents
- Support Client Testing
- Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues
- Ability to diagnose & address application issues.
- Candidate should be willing to work late in the evening India time on need basis to meet urgent requests by Clients.
- 6- 9 years of strong mainframe experience with COBOL/JCL/CICS/VSAM/ DB2
- Experience in managing UAT/L3/Production support
- Good knowledge of MQ/NDM/Scheduling
- Excellent communication, analytical skills and problem-solving experience for implementation, debugging and testing.
- Financial services domain experience
- Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background
- Good time management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
