About the Role
Meraki Dezine is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about architecture and interior design and are eager to build their skills by working alongside experienced architects on a diverse range of projects.
As a Junior Architect, you will assist in the planning, design, documentation, and execution of projects across healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and residential sectors. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to innovative and high-quality design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects and project teams in developing architectural and interior design concepts.
- Client Presentations: Support in preparing presentations for clients, including drawings, renderings, and other visual materials
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, presentations, and construction documentation.
- 3D modelling and Visualisation Develop 3D models and renderings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
- Support the preparation of working drawings, construction details, and material specifications.
- Assist in coordinating with consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits to document progress, understand construction practices, and assist in resolving on-site design issues.
- Conduct research on building materials, products, codes, regulations, and design trends.
- Ensure drawings and documentation are accurate, organized, and aligned with project standards.

· Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating design work and technical proficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 0–2 years of professional experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong design aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and presentation software.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Lumion, Enscape, or other visualization tools will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Revit or BIM workflows will be an added advantage.
