As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. As a part of the Risk Architecture team you will participate in data reconnaissance and exploratory work locating valuable information in data, run analyses to transform and enrich the data, and construct the usable data into an optimally designed data product. You get to participate in the development and optimization of Customer Analytical Data products, including: conceptual, logical, physical and semantic design, testing, performance tuning, maintaining the metadata and lineage reports, and hand off to operational support teams. You will also lead the UAT efforts in out cloud journey(AWS) and DataBricks(DBX).
Job Responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders to develop requirements for creating new attributes

Conduct requirement grooming sessions with the development teams

Develop and execute UAT test cases
-
Work with the Data Review Board to get attributes certified

Research and remediate data issues in the existing attributes
-
Create metadata and lineage reports
- Create robust Data Quality rules to mitigate the risk of inaccurate consumption.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and skills:
-
Minimum of 7+ years' experience in SQL with expertise in Unix and Hadoop/Hive
-
Expert in developing process flows and documenting metadata
-
Experience in developing web interfaces (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)

Experience in understanding and following the Agile methodology

Experience with AWS tools and Data Bricks

Experience with Data Quality monitoring and reconciliation processes

Degree in a quantitative field: Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Computing and Information Theory, Industrial / Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent

Experience managing the performance of a high impact team of product analysts
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

AWS practitioner Certification

Experience with AWS tools (AAAS and Data Bricks preferred)

Knowledge of banking data and concepts
-
Comfortable manipulating and summarizing large quantities of data

Ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines

Risk Management helps the firm understand, manage and anticipate risks in a constantly changing environment. The work covers areas such as evaluating country-specific risk, understanding regulatory changes and determining credit worthiness. Risk Management provides independent oversight and maintains an effective control environment.
