We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and surgically manage a wide range of conditions affecting the abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, skin, soft tissues, breast, thyroid, and hernias. The role includes outpatient consultations, pre-operative assessment, surgical procedures, post-operative care, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outpatient consultations and evaluate patients requiring surgical intervention.
Diagnose and manage conditions requiring general surgical treatment.
Perform elective and emergency general surgical procedures within the scope of practice.
Perform minor surgical procedures in the clinic, where appropriate.
Conduct pre-operative evaluations, obtain informed consent, and develop surgical treatment plans.
Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and pathology reports.
Coordinate patient care with anesthesiologists, physicians, radiologists, and other specialists.
Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, risks, recovery, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and timely Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and quality assurance protocols.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Qualifications
MBBS from an NMC-recognized institution.
MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the respective State Medical Council.
Fellowship or additional training in laparoscopic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, breast surgery, colorectal surgery, or trauma surgery is desirable.
Experience
Fresh MS/DNB graduates and experienced consultants are encouraged to apply.
1–10+ years of experience in general surgery is preferred.
Experience in hospitals, multispecialty clinics, or surgical centers is an advantage.

Working Hours
Flexible shifts based on clinic requirements.
Full-time, part-time, and visiting consultant opportunities available.
Availability for emergency consultations and on-call duties, as required.
Pay: ₹2,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per day
