Position Summary
The EHS Executive is responsible for implementing and monitoring all Environment, Health & Safety activities at the high-rise residential construction site. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, company safety standards, and client requirements to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
- Implement site-specific EHS plans, procedures, and safety policies.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and hazard identification.
- Ensure compliance with work permit systems such as:
- Height work permit
- Hot work permit
- Excavation permit
- Electrical isolation permit
- Confined space permit
- Monitor high-risk construction activities including:
- Work at height
- Tower crane operations
- Material lifting
- Scaffolding activities
- Formwork & shuttering
- Concrete pouring
- Excavation work
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain all EHS records, reports, checklists, and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental norms.
- Prepare:
- Daily/weekly/monthly safety reports
- Incident reports
- Near-miss reports
- Toolbox talk records
- Safety audit reports
- Coordinate with government authorities and client safety representatives during inspections.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct:
- Safety induction training
- Toolbox talks
- Mock drills
- Emergency response training
- Promote safety awareness among workers, staff, and subcontractors.
- Ensure workers use proper PPE at all times.
Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response procedures.
- Coordinate fire prevention and firefighting arrangements.
- Ensure availability and inspection of:
- Fire extinguishers
- First aid boxes
- Emergency rescue equipment
- Safety signage
Incident Investigation
- Investigate accidents, unsafe acts, and near misses.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Follow up on closure of safety observations and NCRs.
Environmental Management
- Monitor environmental compliance related to:
- Dust control
- Noise control
- Waste management
- Debris disposal
- Water pollution prevention
- Ensure housekeeping standards across the project site.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science.
- Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Fire & Safety, or NEBOSH/IOSH preferred.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in high-rise residential or commercial building projects.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in high-rise building safety management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards preferred.
- Good computer knowledge (MS Office, safety reporting systems).
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling projects with:
- Tower cranes
- Passenger hoists
- Aluminium formwork
- Façade work
- Heavy lifting activities
- Experience coordinating with contractors and multiple agencies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Zero fatality and reduction in LTIs.
- Timely closure of safety observations.
- PPE compliance percentage.
- Safety training man-hours completed.
- Audit compliance score.
- Near-miss reporting and corrective action closure.
Working Conditions
- Full-time site-based role.
- Requires regular site inspections and work in outdoor conditions.
- Flexible to work extended hours as per project requirements.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
