JOB DESCRIPTION –
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Renewable Energy Coordinator to oversee the operational, financial, and performance management aspects of our renewable energy portfolio. The role will be responsible for supporting asset operations, monitoring performance, managing SAP-based procurement and accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and a passion for driving operational excellence in renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of renewable energy assets, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
- Monitor generation, equipment health, and asset availability through SCADA and performance monitoring systems.
- Identify operational issues, track corrective actions, and work closely with site teams and service providers to improve asset performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing plant efficiency, reliability, and uptime.
SAP, Procurement & Financial Management
- Manage SAP transactions related to Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Service Entry Sheets (SES), and invoice processing.
- Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely execution of purchasing and vendor payment processes.
- Verify invoices and support accurate cost allocation in accordance with approved budgets and accounting guidelines.
- Assist in budget monitoring, cost tracking, and preparation of asset-wise financial reports and analyses.
- Prepare periodic reports covering operational expenses, cost variances, and asset performance.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and report operational, generation, and performance data across renewable energy assets.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and compare actual performance against planned targets and contractual commitments.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports for effective monitoring and decision-making.
- Identify performance gaps, generation losses, and improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis.
Project & Vendor Coordination
- Support the execution of asset optimization initiatives, performance improvement projects, and plant enhancement activities.
- Coordinate with site teams, OEMs, contractors, and vendors for maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Assist in implementing digitalization and automation initiatives to improve monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of operational data, SAP transactions, maintenance activities, and financial information.
- Prepare and maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Provide timely reports and information to internal stakeholders and management as required.
PPA & Open Access Management
- Support the administration and monitoring of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Open Access arrangements, and related contractual obligations.
- Assist in coordinating with developers, DISCOMs, SLDCs, and other stakeholders for Open Access operations and compliance requirements.
- Track energy generation, consumption, scheduling, and monthly energy settlements to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
- Review Open Access charges, banking adjustments, and energy-related invoices, and support reconciliation activities.
- Prepare regular reports on PPA performance, Open Access operations, energy savings, and related regulatory compliance matters.
