Production Manager – Home Textiles
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to manage weaving, yarn/fabric dyeing, printing, and processing operations. The candidate will lead departmental subordinates and ensure production is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor production according to order and shipment schedules.
- Allocate work to suitable weaving, dyeing, printing, and processing vendors.
- Ensure vendors follow approved specifications, colours, designs, and quality standards.
- Coordinate yarn and fabric movement between outsourced vendors.
- Control quality, wastage, process losses, shortages, rejection, and reprocessing.
- Resolve production delays and implement corrective action to meet delivery dates.
- Coordinate with merchandising, quality, sourcing, stores, logistics, and commercial teams.
- Maintain work-in-progress reports, vendor documents, and material reconciliation.
- Evaluate vendor and team performance for quality, cost, compliance, and timely delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant experience in home-textile manufacturing and export production.
- Strong knowledge of weaving, dyeing, printing, and fabric processing.
- Experience managing outsourced vendors and production teams.
- Good planning, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict export shipment deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production/ERP reporting systems.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
