Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to lead and execute Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects from order receipt to final handover. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of projects within budget, quality, and timeline commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Prepare comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Manage complete project lifecycle including design coordination, procurement, fabrication, logistics, erection, and commissioning.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per contractual requirements.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Coordination & Monitoring
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Site Execution teams.
- Monitor project progress using MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent project management tools.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans proactively.
Cost & Budget Control
- Monitor project budgets and control costs to achieve targeted profitability.
- Review project expenditures and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Site Management
- Supervise site execution activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and statutory requirements at project sites.
- Resolve technical and operational challenges during project execution.
Contract & Documentation Management
- Review project contracts, technical specifications, and commercial obligations.
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, change orders, and project closure reports.
- Manage variation orders and claims effectively.
Leadership
- Lead cross-functional project teams and subcontractors.
- Drive performance, accountability, and project ownership among team members.
- Mentor and develop junior project engineers and site managers.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of PEB design, fabrication, and erection processes.
- Expertise in project scheduling and resource planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Sound understanding of construction contracts and project controls.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
