Job Title: Quality Control EngineerJob Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating materials and products, as well as identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Conduct inspections, tests, and measurements of materials/products
- Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
- Perform root cause analysis for quality issues
- Maintain quality documentation, reports, and records
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Support audits (internal and external) and quality certifications
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field)
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control/assurance
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.)
- Familiarity with quality tools (7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC, CAPA)
- Experience with inspection and testing equipment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
