About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and confident Academic Counsellor to guide and counsel students regarding PhD programs and higher education opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for understanding student requirements, explaining course details, and assisting students throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students regarding PhD programs, eligibility, admission process, and career opportunities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, leads, and follow-ups
- Guide students in selecting suitable research programs based on their profile and interests
- Maintain regular communication with prospective students through calls, emails, and WhatsApp
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Maintain accurate student data and update CRM records
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processing and documentation
- Build strong relationships with students and provide excellent counselling support
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and convincing skills
- Minimum Graduate in any discipline
- Prior experience in academic counselling, education sales, or admission counselling preferred
- Basic knowledge of higher education and PhD programs is an advantage
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines
- Good interpersonal and follow-up skills
Salary:
As per industry standards + Incentives
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
