Job Description:
We are looking for a GIS Executive with experience in City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects. The candidate will be responsible for GIS mapping, utility data management, and updating pipeline network information using GIS software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update GIS maps for gas pipeline networks.
- Handle utility data digitization and spatial data management.
- Perform QC/QA of GIS data as per project requirements.
- Update as-built drawings and maintain GIS databases.
- Coordinate with survey and field teams for accurate data collection.
- Work on asset mapping, route alignment, and utility tracing.
- Generate reports, layouts, and thematic maps for project use.
- Ensure timely project delivery and data accuracy.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS/QGIS/AutoCAD.
- Experience in utility mapping or CGD projects preferred.
- Understanding of gas pipeline network mapping and asset management.
- Good knowledge of shapefiles, geodatabases, and coordinate systems.
- Basic understanding of survey data and field collection methods.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Geography, GIS, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience in City Gas Distribution projects.
- Knowledge of pipeline annotation and utility mapping.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
