Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations:Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reporting through the ERP system.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts, using the ERP's capabilities for accurate financial planning.
- Reporting & Analysis:Generate financial statements, reports, and custom dashboards for management, using real-time ERP data to inform decisions.
- Month-End Close:Support and execute the month-end closing process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reconciled.
- Compliance:Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- ERP Optimization:Provide recommendations for system configurations, customizations, and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Data Management:Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the ERP system and manage integrations with other applications.
- User Support:Provide training and troubleshooting support to end-users for the ERP financial modules and processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Accounting Expertise:Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable financial insights.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Communication:Ability to effectively communicate financial information and ERP system functionality to non-technical users.
- Attention to Detail:Meticulous approach to data entry and financial record-keeping to ensure accuracy.
- Problem-Solving:Ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve discrepancies, and optimize system functionality.
- Collaboration:Proven ability to work effectively with IT, business users, and external vendors.
- Education:Typically a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
