Job Description of Capsule filling and sealing machine operator
A Capsule Filling Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains machinery (e.g., ACF90, IMA, ZRO) to fill, seal, and inspect pharmaceutical capsules. Key responsibilities include adjusting equipment for accurate fill weight, monitoring production for quality, troubleshooting, and performing cleaning/sterilization per cGMP guidelines to meet safety standards. - Machine Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate automatic or semi-automatic capsule filling machines (e.g., ACF90, ZRO 90T, 150T) to meet production schedules.
- Production Monitoring: Monitor filling, closing, and sorting processes to ensure correct weight, count, and capsule integrity.
- Quality Control & Compliance: Perform in-process checks, check capsule locking lengths, and ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean and sanitize equipment between batches, and perform routine maintenance to prevent malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and correct mechanical issues, such as capsule jams, misaligned parts, or incorrect powder flow.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of batch records, machine usage, and cleaning activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience operating pharmaceutical machinery is often preferred.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks requiring high physical and visual effort.
