Key responsibility
- Prepare detailed project schedules, baseline programs, and resource-loaded plans for construction projects.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.
- Develop and maintain project dashboards, MIS reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project execution, procurement, billing, QA/QC, and contracts teams to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Perform project tracking using Earned Value Management (EVM) and productivity analysis.
- Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, manpower histograms, equipment deployment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in project reviews and management meetings, presenting planning updates and risk assessments.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
- Experience in planning and scheduling of high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, institutional projects, or large-scale infrastructure works.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred candidate
- Exposure to project controls, budgeting, resource planning, and delay analysis.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering from premier institutes such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR), NIT or equivalent reputed institutions. Preference for candidates with a PG degree/PGDM in Construction Management from leading institutes.
