Role Overview:
We're looking for an Accountant who can handle our day-to-day finances and keep our books clean. You'll work closely with vendors, manage payments, take care of tax filings, and make sure all our accounts are properly reconciled. Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Payments & Bank Management
- Process vendor payments on time and keep track of all payouts
- Update and maintain bank account details for vendors
- Follow up with vendors on payment schedules and answer their queries
- Keep a good working relationship with all vendor partners
GST & TDS Filing
- Prepare and file GST returns every month without missing deadlines
- Calculate TDS, deduct it properly, and file quarterly and annual returns
- Keep up with any changes in tax rules and make sure we're compliant
- Maintain all documents related to taxes properly
Reconciliations
- Do bank reconciliations regularly to match our records with bank statements
- Reconcile vendor accounts and sort out any mismatches
- Handle customer reconciliations and keep receivables updated
- Prepare monthly reconciliation reports and highlight issues
- Make sure every transaction is properly recorded
General Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts
- Help prepare monthly financial reports for management
- Track expenses and compare them with budgets
- Support the audit team when needed
- Keep all financial records organized and easy to find
Requirements:
Experience & Background:
- Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- 2-3 years of practical accounting experience
- Experience in a CA firm is highly preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Have an experience of working in a start-up
What You Should Know:
- Good understanding of GST and TDS rules
- Know how to work with accounting software
- Comfortable using Excel for daily work
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
