Job Summary
The Café Manager is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the café, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff management, smooth daily operations, inventory control, and achievement of sales and profitability goals. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and attention to detail to maintain the premium standards of Coffee Duet.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café.
- Ensure smooth service during all operating hours.
- Maintain premium service standards and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained throughout the café.
Team Management
- Supervise, train, and motivate all café staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Ensure effective communication among team members.
- Maintain discipline and professionalism within the workplace.
Customer Service
- Welcome and engage with customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
- Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Ensure staff deliver exceptional hospitality at all times.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage inventory using Petpooja software.
- Monitor stock levels and place purchase orders when required.
- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory checks.
- Minimize wastage and control food costs.
- Ensure proper storage and stock rotation practices.
Billing & Cash Management
- Monitor billing operations through Petpooja POS.
- Oversee transactions through Pine Labs billing machines.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.
- Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer footfall.
- Plan and execute promotions, seasonal offers, and marketing activities.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend improvements.
Compliance & Maintenance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Coordinate maintenance of café equipment and facilities.
- Ensure all licenses and operational requirements remain up to date.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management.
- Experience managing teams and daily operations.
- Knowledge of inventory management and POS systems.
Required Skills
