We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to prepare accurate and coordinated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and layout plans using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction drawings.
- Develop Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV system drawings as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with MEP Engineers, Architects, Structural Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on site modifications and project completion requirements.
- Review project specifications and incorporate design changes into drawings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control records.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of material schedules when required.
- Resolve drawing-related issues and support project execution teams.
- Prepare detailed layouts, sections, elevations, and schematic drawings.
- Participate in coordination meetings and update drawings accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD Drafting preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in construction, infrastructure, or building projects.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or high-rise building projects will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
