Deputy Manager-IT
Job Description
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for ensuring the security, stability, availability, and compliance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role provides end-to-end ownership of data Center operations, server and network management, vulnerability remediation, infrastructure compliance, and execution of critical IT and Information Security projects. The position plays a direct role in minimizing operational risk, ensuring business continuity, and supporting regulatory, audit, and quality requirements.
Own and manage on-premise and site IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and end‑user computing platforms
Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems supporting Manufacturing, QC, R&D, and enterprise operations.
Proactively monitor infrastructure health and capacity, addressing potential risks before service impact
Manage data center and IT/OT smart rack operations, including monitoring of temperature, humidity, power supply, UPS, electrical distribution and rack health
Maintain access, environmental, and operational logs for data center compliance and audits
Ensure uptime, physical security, and operational readiness of critical infrastructure facilities
Lead administration of Windows servers, Active Directory, patching, performance tuning, and system hardening
Oversee network operations, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams and service providers
Ensure secure configuration, backups, and restoration processes for servers and network devices
Own server and network vulnerability diagnostics, remediation, and closure cycles
Coordinate with Infosec, SOC, and corporate security teams for vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and evidence submission
Reduce security exposure through timely remediation and continuous monitoring
Ensure compliance with IT, Infosec, GxP, and Non‑GxP policies and standards.
Drive antivirus, endpoint management, SCCM coverage, backups (CommVault), and directory services compliance.
Support internal and external IT, quality, and information security audits with complete documentation and evidence.
Lead and execute infrastructure‑related IT projects supporting applications, digital transformation, and business growth.
Provide infrastructure readiness for enterprise initiatives and regulatory systems.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and system integrators to meet project timelines.
Ensure accurate asset management of servers, network devices, end‑user systems, and infrastructure components.
Manage OEM and service vendor engagements (OEMs, ISPs, system integrators) for issue resolution and service delivery.
Optimize vendor dependency through strong in‑house technical ownership.
Ensure regular backups, disaster recovery readiness, and restoration testing for critical systems.
Minimize downtime, prevent repeat incidents, and support uninterrupted business operations.
Act as a key escalation point for major infrastructure incidents.
