Picker Packer Job Description
A Picker Packer is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a warehouse or distribution center. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or handheld scanners.
- Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transportation.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting stock shortages or discrepancies.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming inventory as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is an advantage but not always required.
- Ability to lift and move packages (typically up to 25–50 lbs / 11–23 kg).
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Basic computer or handheld scanner experience is an asset.

Working Conditions

Pay: Up to ₹17,000.00 per month
