Develop and approve drawings, including General Arrangement (GA) Drawings and Plot Plan etc.
∙Lead the preparation and finalization of Detailed Fabrication Drawings for all boiler pressure parts, Water Wall, Economizer, Piping, PRS, etc. and non-pressure parts (e.g., Heat Exchangers, Pollution control Equipment, Casings, Ducting, Support Structures, Platforms etc.) ∙
Release of the final Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accuracy and alignment with procurement and manufacturing requirements. ∙
Serve as the primary technical interface between Basic Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Site/Erection teams. ∙
Selection of Bought out items like Burners, Pumps, Blowers, Flowmeters, Etc. ∙Resolve all Technical Queries (TQs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) originating from the workshop or project site in a timely manner. ∙
Review and approve drawings and documents submitted by sub-vendors for their equipment to ensure seamless integration into the overall boiler design. ∙
Participate in Project Reviews and deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders. ∙
Understanding schedule, customer’s requirements and preparing internal schedule for mitigation.
BE Mechanical with 6 to 8 yrs of Experience in Detailed/Mechanical Design and Engineering of Boiler & ∙Experience with engineering calculations and analysis software ∙
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works. ∙In-depth working knowledge and application of, Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) 1950 (latest amendments).
ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) or equivalent. Knowledge of ASME codes. ∙Familiarity with DMS, ERP software. ∙Proficient in MS Office. ∙
Design Optimization for steel structure/ ducting etc.
Knowledge of various materials and their applicable standards/ codes used in for boiler applications.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
