We have completed a 4 feature films and are looking for an experienced Global Film Sales & Distribution Executive to secure distribution deals across international markets. The ideal candidate should have strong industry connections with streaming platforms, television networks, theatrical distributors, and sales agents worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a worldwide sales and distribution strategy for the film.
Pitch the film to international distributors, OTT platforms, broadcasters, and film buyers.
Negotiate licensing, distribution, and acquisition agreements.
Represent the film at international film markets and festivals.
Build relationships with global entertainment companies and sales agencies.
Identify opportunities for theatrical, digital, television, airline, and educational distribution.
Coordinate with legal and production teams during contract negotiations.
Maximize revenue through territory-based sales and licensing opportunities.
Provide regular reports on sales activities and market feedback.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in international film sales or distribution.
Existing network of buyers, distributors, streaming platforms, and broadcasters.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of international licensing, rights management, and entertainment contracts.
Experience attending major film markets such as Cannes, AFM, EFM, TIFF, MIPCOM, or similar events is preferred.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Preferred Experience
3+ years in film distribution or media sales.
Successful track record of selling independent films internationally.
Familiarity with OTT platforms and digital distribution strategies.
