Summary:
UST is looking for Electrical Engineer you will have opportunity to work on the Test Equipment and related Semiconductor products from design to the final implementation at the field.
Exposure to manufacturing and product test strategy.
The Opportunity:
As an Electrical Engineer– Primary reasonability is to Design and Development of
Automated Test Equipment
Below are the details of R&R for Electrical Engineer
- Able to handle the projects from start to deployment and commissioning
independently
- Part of each project (New/upgrade), Engineer able to perform following tasks
independently
o SOW Creation
o Details design with schematic/drawings
o Detail BOM
o Design reviews
o Software, Mechanical interactions
o Regular Project updates to PM and Manager
o Parts procurement which involves Vendor and sourcing team interaction
o Test Fixture build, debug, validate
o Test fixture deployment and commissioning at site, which requires travel
for 2-3 Weeks
o Create Test Procedures
What you need:
- Excellent Hands-on experience in designing, building and deploying Automated
- Highly experienced in designing electrical schematics, BOM preparation, control
- panel and cable harnesses
- Hands-on experience in field deployment, troubleshooting issues and
- Excellent Communication skills within team and cross functional teams.
- Good understanding on project requirement, statement of work and ability to
- independently provide concept with lead time and cost proposal.
- Experienced in designing electrical schematics; preparing BOMs; and developing control panels and cable harnesses. The focus is on development of electronic circuits that are part of the entire test fixture which is developed by our team.
- Good knowledge in board design and measurement equipment’s like Tracking generator, Spectrum Analyzer and Optics
- Stronger board design experience, and debugging relevant to ATE and test fixture environments

Desired Skills:
- Good knowledge and hands on experience on Data Acquisition & control system
- Good knowledge and hands on experience on Power distribution system
- Design for Safety and Ergonomics requirements
- Pneumatic circuits, Vacuum circuits and component selection
- Value add if has good knowledge on fluid system and mechanics
- Noise isolation, grounding techniques, Signal condition
- Software debugging, integration and testing.
- Good knowledge in RF Signal, RF safety and exposure fundamentals, Power, gain, bandwidth, and attenuation analysis, Noise figure and noise analysis, Impedance
matching networks, Debugging RF issues (noise, interference, spurs), Signal
generator usage
- Strong knowledge of electrical design engineering; digital/analog/mixed-signal design; power electronics; controls; and instrumentation.
- Experience with FPGA and microcontroller design.
- Experience with PCB/board design.
- Good understanding of communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB, Wi-Fi, IoT, and Bluetooth; memory devices such as SRAM and DDR3+; and high-speed communication protocols such as ETHERCAT, ETHERNET, and PCIe.
- SEMI S2, S8, UL, RoHS, and IEC/EN 61010-1 standards
Travel
Travel will be there based on the project requirements -domestic & international
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree.
10+ years of relevant experience. 10-15 years of total experience.
