To support this growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented MIS Analyst to manage data, generate insights, and support business decision-making.
Role Purpose
The MIS Analyst will be responsible for managing large datasets, generating reports, and ensuring accurate and timely data analysis to support business operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Management & Processing
- Collect, organize, and maintain data from multiple sources
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing as per company policies.
- Maintain and update databases with high data integrity
2. Reporting & Analysis
- Generate periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and summaries
- Analyze data to support business decision-making
- Present data-driven insights to management in a clear manner
3. Database & System Management
- Manage large datasets efficiently
- Utilize Excel, ERP systems, and analytical tools for data handling
- Ensure consistency and reliability of data across systems
4. Process Documentation & Improvement
- Document data processes, methodologies, and reporting standards
- Identify gaps and suggest improvements in reporting systems
- Support automation and efficiency in MIS processes
5. Training & Coordination
- Identify skill gaps and support training initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for data requirements
- Ensure smooth flow of information across departments
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be evaluated against, but not limited to, the following metrics:
- Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports
- Data integrity and consistency
- Efficiency in handling large datasets
- Quality of insights and reporting
- Process improvement and automation
Required Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage large datasets efficiently
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as an MIS Executive or similar role
- Strong background in data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in handling large datasets and MIS reporting
- Strong understanding of data analysis and business reporting
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions) and dashboards
- Good coordination skills with cross-functional teams
- High ownership mindset and attention to detail
