Arlak Biotech is seeking a results-driven Institutional Sales Manager to develop and expand our institutional business across hospitals, nursing homes, government institutions, healthcare chains, and corporate healthcare organizations. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building long-term partnerships, managing key accounts, and ensuring product availability within assigned territories.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstitutional Business Development
- Develop and grow institutional sales through hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare chains, and government institutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital administrators, purchase managers, key decision-makers, and healthcare professionals.
Sales & Product Promotion
- Promote Arlak Biotech's product portfolio to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare institutions.
- Conduct scientific product presentations, brand detailing, and one-on-one discussions with healthcare professionals.
- Execute promotional activities to increase product awareness, prescriptions, and institutional adoption.
Tender & Contract Management
- Monitor and participate in government and private hospital tenders.
- Prepare and submit tender documentation in coordination with internal teams.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and institutional supply terms.
Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Analyze prescription trends, institutional demand patterns, and product performance.
- Provide regular market feedback and business insights to management.
Sales Execution & Account Management
- Ensure product availability through distributors, wholesalers, and institutional supply channels.
- Generate institutional orders and achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Perform regular Retail Chemist Prescription Audits (RCPA) and monitor product movement.
- Manage key accounts effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer interactions, and business reports.
- Submit periodic sales forecasts, market reports, and activity updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical marketing practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Hospital Sales, Tender Business, or Pharma Marketing.
- Strong understanding of hospital procurement systems and institutional sales processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
