About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and student-focused Career Counselor to guide students in identifying suitable career paths, making informed academic decisions, and achieving their future goals. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and counseling skills and be committed to helping students explore career opportunities aligned with their interests, abilities, and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group career counseling sessions for students.
- Assess students' interests, strengths, personality traits, and career aspirations.
- Guide students in selecting appropriate academic streams, courses, and career pathways.
- Provide information on higher education options, entrance examinations, scholarships, and emerging career opportunities.
- Help students create actionable career plans to achieve their long-term goals.
- Organize career guidance workshops, seminars, and awareness programs.
- Maintain counseling records and prepare reports when required.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and educational institutions to support student development.
- Stay updated on current education trends, career opportunities, and industry requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Post-Graduation in any discipline.
- M.A. in Psychology will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in career counseling, student counseling, education, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counseling and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Strong listening, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Passion for student development and career guidance.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
