Job Summary
The Inside Sales Executive – Technical Sales will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, qualifying leads, providing technical product information, preparing quotations, following up with customers, and generating new business opportunities. The role requires a blend of sales skills and technical understanding to effectively communicate product features and recommend suitable solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Management
- Handle inbound inquiries received through phone, email, website, social media, and other lead sources.
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, customer referrals, LinkedIn, and market research.
- Qualify leads based on customer requirements, application, budget, and purchase timeline.
- Reconnect with existing and inactive customers to generate repeat business.
- Schedule meetings or product discussions for the Sales Manager where required.
Technical Sales Support
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
- Explain product specifications, applications, and technical features to customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for technical clarifications when required.
- Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and product information.
- Follow up on quotations until closure or completion.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM.
- Track the complete sales pipeline from inquiry to order.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all customer inquiries and pending quotations.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and accounts for smooth order processing.
Reporting
- Prepare daily call reports, weekly pipeline reports, and monthly sales performance reports.
- Monitor customer feedback and market trends.
- Maintain data accuracy and support management with sales insights.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, or Customer Support.
- Freshers with a technical background and excellent communication skills may also apply.
- Experience in industrial products, engineering equipment, automation, safety products, electrical products, or similar industries is preferred.

- Respond to all customer inquiries within the defined turnaround time.
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting.
- Achieve monthly quotation and follow-up targets.

- Improve quotation-to-order conversion rate.
- Reactivate inactive customers and generate repeat business.
- Meet assigned monthly sales and revenue targets.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
