Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer to manage project billing, measurements, quantity verification, and documentation for government construction projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing RA Bills, final bills, quantity reconciliation, and working with CPWD, PWD, or other government contract procedures. The candidate should be well-versed in contract conditions, BOQs, and billing processes applicable to government infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills as per contract terms and project progress.
- Record, verify, and certify measurements in Measurement Books (MBs).
- Prepare and verify quantities based on BOQs, drawings, and site measurements.
- Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, contractors, and client representatives for timely bill certification.
- Ensure billing complies with CPWD, PWD, and other applicable government contract specifications.
- Prepare quantity reconciliation statements and material reconciliation reports.
- Track bill submissions, certifications, and payment follow-ups.
- Verify subcontractor bills and certify quantities executed at site.
- Prepare rate analysis for extra items, deviation statements, and variation orders.
- Maintain billing records, contract documents, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in billing for government construction projects.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in projects executed under CPWD, PWD, MES, NHAI, Railways, Smart City, Municipal Corporations, or other Central/State Government departments.
- Strong understanding of CPWD Specifications, DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates), PWD Schedule of Rates, BOQ preparation, and government contract billing procedures.
- Experience in handling EPC, item-rate, or percentage-rate contracts will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
