Job Summary
The National Sports Club Of India Worli Mumbai is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Captain to oversee daily restaurant and banquet service operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest service, supervising service staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of stewards and service staff.
· Ensure prompt and courteous service to members and guests.
· Take and process food and beverage orders accurately.
· Monitor table service and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
· Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints professionally.
· Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service operations.
· Assist in organizing and managing banquet, conference, and special event services.
· Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in dining and service areas.
· Ensure proper setup of tables, buffet counters, and service stations.
· Train and guide junior staff on service standards and procedures.
· Prepare daily service reports and communicate operational requirements to management.
Required Skills

· Ability to work under pressure and during peak service hours.
· Basic computer knowledge for billing and order management systems.
Experience
· Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the Food & Beverage service industry.
· Prior experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a hotel, club, restaurant, or banquet facility will be preferred.
Educational Qualification
· HSC (12th Pass) or Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
· Hospitality training certifications will be an added advantage.
Compensation
· Salary: ₹25,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience).
