Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Applications Management Engineer to support a strategic Adobe application management transformation program. The role will be responsible for assessing, designing, configuring, packaging, deploying, and operationalizing Adobe application management within Microsoft Intune, leveraging Adobe Admin Console, Remote Update Manager (RUM), and Adobe Update Server Setup Tool (AUSST).
The engineer will work closely with Adobe application owners, endpoint management teams, security teams, and project stakeholders to improve Adobe patching, update governance, license management visibility, and enterprise-scale deployment capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Adobe Environment Assessment
* Review Adobe Admin Console configuration, product profiles, user groups, and identity models.
* Assess current Adobe application deployment and update mechanisms.
* Analyze license utilization and identify governance/process improvement opportunities.
* Assess Adobe application inventory across Reader, Acrobat, Creative Cloud, and other in-scope products.
* Document current-state architecture and operational processes.
Solution Design
* Design target-state Adobe application management architecture.
* Define Adobe update strategy utilizing Adobe RUM.
* Design AUSST-based internal update distribution architecture.
* Define deployment, governance, compliance, and operational support models.
* Prepare process improvement recommendations and implementation roadmap.
Packaging and Configuration
* Configure Adobe Admin Console product profiles and groups.
* Create and modify Adobe application packages with RU enabled.
* Repackage existing Adobe applications to support automar updates.
Confioure RIM undate mechanisms and override settinos.
* Configure RUM update mechanisms and override settings.
* Configure update policies and version management controls.
* Develop deployment-ready Intune packages.
Intune Deployment and Testing
* Deploy Adobe applications and update packages through Microsoft Intune.
* Configure deployment rings and pilot groups.
* Support pilot testing and validation activities.
* Troubleshoot deployment failures and update compliance issues.
* Coordinate UAT and production rollout activities.
* Production Rollout and Hypercare
* Execute phased production deployment.
* Monitor deployment success, adoption, and compliance metrics.
* Resolve Adobe update and deployment issues during hypercare.
* Support CAB-approved releases and change management activities.
* Prepare support transition documentation and operational runbooks
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
* Create technical design documents.
* Develop operational runbooks and SOPs.
* Maintain deployment and configuration documentation.
* Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for BAU support teams.

* 5+ years of application packaging and endpoint management experience.
* 3+ years of Microsoft Intune administration experience.
* 3t years managing Adobe Enterprise applications.
* Experience with enterprise-scale software deployment projects.
* Experience supporting pilot, production rollout, and hypercare phases.
* Experience working in large global enterprise environments.
