About Cavea
Cavea is a curated creative-community platform launching in Bhubaneswar — a home for photographers, poets, writers, filmmakers, and musicians to build a real, lasting reputation through their body of work, not follower counts. We’re an early-stage startup, closer to a cultural publication than a typical social media app, and we’re looking for a content writer based in Bhubaneswar to help shape how Cavea sounds and tells stories from the ground up.
Responsibilities
1. Write creator spotlight features and interview-style profiles for Instagram and the Cavea website
2. Craft the story/caption behind each featured work — the context and narrative behind a photograph, poem, or project
3. Write copy for Cavea’s Instagram posts, bio, website, and general brand voice across platforms
4. Help develop and maintain Cavea’s editorial tone — premium, understated, closer to a literary magazine than startup marketing copy
5. Conduct interviews (in-person or over call) with local creators to source material for features
6. Attend local creative events, exhibitions, and creator meetups in Bhubaneswar to source stories and content firsthand
7. Collaborate closely with the video/content team to align written and visual storytelling
Requirements
- Based in Bhubaneswar
- Strong writing skills — clear, concise, with a genuine interest in people’s creative process
- Interest in art, photography, poetry, film, or music (no need to be a practicing artist yourself)
- Comfortable reaching out to and interviewing people directly
- Available to attend occasional local events/shoots in person
