Job Summary:
We are seeking creative and standards-aligned UI/UX Designers to design intuitive, accessible, and responsive interfaces for large-scale digital platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with product, development, and QA teams to deliver user-centri designs that comply with GIGW, WCAG, and other accessibility standards. The ideal candidate will have experience designing for modern web frameworks, microservices-based platforms, and AI-enabled features.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and prototype responsive, multilingual, and accessible interfaces for web and mobile platforms

Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with functional workflows and user requirements

Ensure adherence to GIGW, WCAG, and relevant accessibility standards for public-facing digital platforms

Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless implementation in frameworks such as Next.js, React, or similar Page 18 of 23

Apply consistent visual design systems, component libraries, and branding across modules

Collaborate with business analysts to incorporate feedback from usability studies and stakeholder reviews

Design for integration with AI-enabled features such as chatbots, smart search, and OCR-driven document handling

Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements

Leverage AI-powered design tools (e.g., Uizard, Diagram, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly) to accelerate prototyping, content mapping, and accessibility validation

Prepare and maintain design system documentation for developer handoff and long-term maintainability
Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in UI/UX design for responsive web and mobile platforms

Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent

Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines (GIGW 3.0, WCAG 2.1) and responsive design principles

Experience designing for modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js) and integration with backend services

Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and component-based UI libraries such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap

Ability to design for multilingual environments and role-based user experiences

Experience conducting usability testing and applying user research insights

Exposure to AI-powered design/prototyping tools is preferred

Excellent visual communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Good to have certification: NN/g UX Certification, Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), or Adobe Certified Professional in UX Design.
