Job Description
The Photographer cum Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content for marketing, branding, social media, e-commerce, and promotional campaigns. The role involves photography, videography, editing, and content production to effectively showcase jewellery products, events, and brand activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Photography & Videography
- Capture high-quality product photographs for jewellery catalogs, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct showroom, lifestyle, model, and event photography sessions.
- Shoot promotional videos, product videos, reels, and social media content.
- Handle camera setup, lighting arrangements, and studio equipment.
- Ensure proper composition, focus, color accuracy, and visual appeal in all shoots.
2. Photo & Video Editing
- Edit and retouch jewellery images for catalogs, websites, advertisements, and social media.
- Create engaging video content including reels, promotional videos, product showcases, and brand campaigns.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Optimize content for various digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and e-commerce websites.
3. Creative Content Development
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visual concepts and campaign ideas.
- Design creative promotional materials and digital marketing assets.
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual content.
- Stay updated with current photography, videography, and social media trends.
4. Equipment Management
- Handle cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, microphones, and accessories.
- Maintain photography and videography equipment in good working condition.
- Organize and archive digital media files systematically for future use.
Job Specification
Education:
- Any Graduate / Diploma in Photography, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Photography, Videography, and Editing. (freshers also welcomed)
- Experience in Jewellery, Fashion, Retail, E-commerce, or Digital Marketing industry preferred.
Skills Required
- Professional Photography and Videography skills
- Strong Photo Editing and Retouching abilities
- Video Editing and Motion Graphics knowledge
- Camera handling and lighting setup expertise
- Knowledge of social media content creation and digital marketing creatives
Software Proficiency
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Wondershare Filmora (or equivalent editing software)
- Lightroom (Preferred)
Other Requirements
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of visual storytelling and branding
- Passion for photography, videography, and content creation
- Portfolio showcasing photography and editing work is mandatory
Salary Range
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience, skills, and portfolio quality)
