About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and organized Office In-Charge cum Accountant to oversee the day-to-day office operations, warehouse coordination, inventory management, and basic accounting activities. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing office administration while ensuring accurate stock records and coordinating with vendors and the Accounts Head.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Administration
- Manage daily office operations and administrative activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of office facilities and maintain office supplies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support day-to-day business operations.
- Maintain office records, documents, and filing systems.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee warehouse operations and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.
- Coordinate inward and outward movement of materials.
- Perform regular stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper documentation for goods received and dispatched.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors for material procurement and deliveries.
- Maintain vendor records and purchase-related documentation.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, and pending materials.
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
Accounting & Finance Support
- Handle basic accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
- Prepare purchase and sales invoices.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Verify bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and payment follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Head for monthly closing, GST-related documentation, and financial reporting.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and statutory documents.
Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with the Sales, Warehouse, and Accounts teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Ensure timely communication between different departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in office administration, warehouse operations, or accounting.
- Experience in inventory and stock management is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Tally ERP/Prime.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and documentation.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a trading, distribution, or solar industry.
- Knowledge of GST documentation and inventory control.
- Experience in warehouse coordination and vendor management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
